Rover was created with the intended use to spread nature-based learning to the families of San Diego by the legendary Little Shepherds Nature Lab. The Little Shepherds are a pillar of an example to us, and we are honored to carry on their legacy with this new acquisition of Rover!
Rover is a traveling nature lab on wheels. Rover does not transport children, but will meet you where you’re at! Rover makes appearances at our Spring & Summer Camps, and frequents our 2026-2027 Homeschool Enrichment Programs around San Diego, CA. Rover also comes out for guest appearances at a variety of shows, events, festivals, camps, and any edutainment-friendly hoedowns and shindigs you got in mind! Rover loves to party… especially if there’s worms and instruments involved.

Rover will make frequent stops throughout our Fall Semester in San Diego, CA! Our Nature Immersion & Homeschool Enrichment program cycles through a variety of locations in West County from August-December.
Same Same But Different Festival
September 25-27, 2026
Lake Perris, CA
A music & arts festival for all ages! Rover will be making its appearance in the Family Garden zone of the festival: a space designed for children and families featuring day-long programming full with workshops, live music & entertainment and so much more!
Spring Semester
January, 2027 - May, 2027
